
Project Launch and Location
• The 36-acre Aero Park at Kochi’s Cochin International Airport (CIAL) will be formally inaugurated on 9 February 2026 by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Purpose and Vision
• The development is intended to expand CIAL’s role beyond traditional airport operations, creating an integrated aviation ecosystem with diverse technical and business facilities.
Integrated Aviation Hub Features
• The park includes aircraft hangars, parking bays, training centres, technical service units and business infrastructure consolidated in a single campus.
Employment and Economic Impact
• According to CIAL Managing Director S Suhas, the Aero Park will generate significant employment opportunities, boost tax revenues, and build capabilities aligned with growth in the aviation sector.
Investment and First Phase Projects
• The first phase comprises six projects with combined investments of ₹101 crore.
Co-Working Business Centre
• A major element of Phase I is the CIASL Business Centre, a premium co-working facility spanning 40,000 sq ft with an estimated investment of ₹30 crore.
Workforce and Tenant Capacity
• The facility is designed to host more than 400 professionals and accommodate about 30 companies, making it one of the few airport-operated co-working centres nationally.
