The Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela was organised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).
The three-day agricultural fair was inaugurated by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister for Agriculture.
Several fertilizer, pesticide and agri-input companies from across the country participated in the event.
Indian Potash Limited (IPL) emerged as one of the major attractions at the mela, drawing a large number of farmers to its pavilion.
IPL created a large integrated pavilion by combining three stalls to present its various agricultural solutions in one place.
The pavilion provided information on crop nutrition, balanced fertilizer use, animal feed, dairy products, sugar products and modern farming solutions.
Farmers visiting the stall interacted directly with experts and received educational materials and guidance on better farming practices.
IPL promoted the “6R principle” for efficient fertilizer use:
The company emphasized that adopting these practices can reduce cultivation costs and increase agricultural productivity.
According to officials, the initiative also supports sustainable farming and aligns with the vision of “Viksit Krishi – Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
