Coworking and managed workspace operator Innov8 has acquired Vatika Business Centres in a strategic move to strengthen its presence across India's rapidly growing flexible office market. While the financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, the acquisition adds 11 premium business centres across New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune to Innov8's portfolio.
The acquisition comes amid increasing demand from enterprises and startups for managed office solutions that offer flexibility, scalability and premium workplace experiences. By integrating Vatika Business Centres into its network, Innov8 aims to deepen its presence in key commercial hubs while expanding its enterprise-focused offerings.
Varun Jain, Chief Operating Officer – Asia, PRISM and Innov8, said the acquisition aligns with the company's vision of building India's leading premium coworking and managed workspace platform. He added that Vatika Business Centres has established a strong reputation for enterprise-grade workspace solutions, creating significant synergies with Innov8's design-led and community-driven operating model.
The transaction also brings Vatika's corporate clientele and managed office operations under Innov8's direct management, allowing the company to offer a broader workspace network and enhanced technology-enabled services. According to Gaurav Bhalla, Managing Director of Vatika Hospitality, the combined platform is expected to deliver greater value through expanded offerings, improved technology integration and access to a larger premium workspace ecosystem.
The acquisition reflects an ongoing consolidation trend within India's coworking industry as operators look to scale through strategic acquisitions. Earlier this month, flexible workspace operator Incuspaze acquired iKeva to expand its footprint, highlighting the sector's increasing focus on inorganic growth to meet rising enterprise demand.
With businesses continuing to embrace hybrid work models, demand for flexible office spaces is expected to remain strong. Innov8's latest acquisition positions the company to capitalize on this trend by expanding its managed workspace portfolio and strengthening its presence in India's major commercial markets.
