Lava International Collaborates with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to Digitally Enable 20,941 Anganwadi Workers
Lava International has partnered with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to digitally enable 20,941 Anganwadi workers across the state.
The initiative aims to strengthen last-mile service delivery under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) framework.
The program was launched at an event in Lucknow, attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and senior officials.
As part of the partnership, Lava supplied custom-built smartphones (Storm Play series) designed for field-level usage.
The devices include:
Mobile Device Management (MDM) for remote control
Supervisor monitoring applications
State-specific integrations aligned with ICDS systems
The initiative enables Anganwadi workers to:
Record maternal and child health data in real time
Track attendance and daily activities
Monitor nutrition distribution and food stock
Upload data directly into centralized systems
The shift from manual to digital processes is expected to:
Improve data accuracy and efficiency
Enable faster decision-making
Help identify health and nutrition risks early
The initiative supports the state’s broader goal of digitizing welfare delivery systems and reducing the digital divide at the grassroots level.
It also reinforces Lava’s role in enabling large-scale public sector digital transformation through integrated hardware and software solutions.
