SBI Mutual Fund invested ₹100 crore ahead of Lenskart’s upcoming IPO.
The investment involved the promoter, Neha Bansal, transferring 24.87 lakh shares at ₹402 per share to SBI Optimal Equity Fund and SBI Emergent Fund.
After the transaction, Neha Bansal’s stake in Lenskart dropped from ~7.61% to ~7.46%.
Lenskart’s IPO is valued at approximately ₹7,278 crore, with the company’s valuation expected to exceed ₹69,700 crore at the upper end of the price band.
The IPO opens on Oct 31 and closes on Nov 4, with listing expected on Nov 10.
Funds from the IPO will support Lenskart’s expansion — new company-owned stores (CoCo model), tech upgrades, brand marketing, and potential acquisitions.
