Goodluck Defence and Aerospace Ltd, the defence manufacturing subsidiary of Goodluck India Ltd, has secured a ₹50 crore export order for the supply of 155mm artillery shells, marking a key milestone in the company’s growing defence business.
The export win highlights increasing global demand for Indian-manufactured defence equipment and reinforces Goodluck Defence and Aerospace’s position as an emerging supplier in international defence markets. The order is expected to contribute meaningfully to the subsidiary’s revenue and support Goodluck India’s broader diversification strategy.
Goodluck Defence and Aerospace holds the necessary industrial licences to manufacture medium-calibre ammunition, including multiple variants of artillery shells. The company has recently operationalised a dedicated defence manufacturing facility designed to cater to both domestic and export requirements.
The plant has an initial production capacity of approximately 150,000 artillery shells annually, with plans to scale up significantly over the next 12–18 months as demand from overseas defence customers continues to rise.
The latest export order aligns with India’s push to expand defence exports under initiatives such as Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat. By securing international contracts, Goodluck Defence and Aerospace is positioning itself as a credible global defence supplier while strengthening India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.
Beyond artillery ammunition, the subsidiary is also exploring opportunities across aerospace and advanced defence manufacturing segments, aiming to build long-term capabilities and partnerships.
With a growing order pipeline, expanding capacity, and favourable global demand trends, Goodluck Defence and Aerospace Ltd is emerging as a key growth engine for Goodluck India’s defence ambitions.
