
Zepto Partners with Truecaller to Enhance Customer Trust and Communication
Mumbai-based quick commerce player Zepto, renowned for its 10-minute delivery model, has partnered with Truecaller to enhance user trust, streamline communications, and boost operational efficiency across its platform.
The integration brings Truecaller’s Customer Experience Solutions into Zepto’s tech infrastructure, enabling the use of tools like Verified Business Caller ID, Video Caller ID, contextual messaging, and OTP-free logins. These features are designed to make customer interactions smoother, more secure, and more transparent.
Operating in more than 80 cities with a catalog of 45,000+ products, Zepto is emphasizing verified communication as a key differentiator. Now, calls from Zepto’s network will display the company’s name, logo, and verification badge—a move expected to improve call pickup rates and foster greater consumer confidence.
Other features like “Call Reason”, “Call Me Back”, and Video Caller ID provide real-time context for calls—whether for order confirmations, delivery updates, or support queries—enhancing user experience at each touchpoint.
The partnership also allows Zepto to leverage Truecaller’s Verified Campaigns for branded SMS and call-based outreach—particularly beneficial during peak hours and promotional campaigns. For onboarding, Zepto and Zepto Café now offer one-tap, OTP-less login through Truecaller’s SDK, simplifying user entry and reducing drop-offs.
Kaivalya Vohra, Zepto’s co-founder, emphasized that trusted communication is "foundational to every successful transaction," and the collaboration will enhance both user trust and operational performance.

For Truecaller, which claims to have blocked over 56 billion spam calls in 2024, the tie-up with Zepto adds to its base of 2,500+ business clients globally who rely on its communication verification tools. Truecaller is headquartered in Stockholm and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm since 2021.
